Questions about Projects
What is turboIFC Projects?
turboIFC Projects is an openBIM common data environment for organizing project information, reviewing IFC models and coordinating work across project teams.
Is Projects only an IFC viewer?
No. Model review is part of a broader project workflow that includes documents, versions, permissions, issues and traceability.
Which model formats does Projects work with?
IFC is the primary model format for model-based workflows. Document and model capabilities depend on the supported format and workflow. Storage, viewing and information analysis are treated as separate capabilities.
How are permissions managed?
Access is controlled by organization, project and role. Published information is not automatically public, and project access is independent from the public website.
How are plans structured?
Plans are designed around project capacity, storage, processing and organizational needs. Collaboration should remain easy without turning every invited user into a separate licensing decision.
Do I keep ownership of my project data?
Yes. Customers retain ownership of their project data and provide only the permissions necessary to operate the contracted service.
